What is ORILISSA?

ORILISSA is a prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe pain associated with endometriosis. It is not known if ORILISSA is safe and effective in children under 18 years of age.

Do not take ORILISSA if you:

NURSE JUDY: I tell them that it isn’t a birth control and it doesn’t prevent pregnancy. And it’s not like an injection. It’s different. ORILISSA is a daily pill and it works in its own way. So, estrogen fuels endo pain and ORILISSA dials down the estrogen, which reduces the endo pain. I had a patient who was, um, in her mid 20’s. She had been dealing with endometriosis for a long time and had tried several different treatments for it. Her doctor recommended ORILISSA. She was hesitant to start it because she didn’t understand how it worked. And when I explained it to her, she kinda said, “Oh my God...this is the first time that I really understand it.” Helping women understand their treatment with ORILISSA and guiding them through it is the best part of my day. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
