Amy’s ORILISSA STORY
Individual results may vary.
Amy:
My name is Amy. I am a teacher’s assistant in Georgia and I have two children and four stepchildren. Right now currently, I have 20 students and every one is such a blessing but as anybody knows that has children at all, being in a classroom with 20 is just such a demanding place to be. I had endometriosis pain multiple times throughout the month not just during my period. The pain would just be horrible. Sometimes it would be radiating or stabbing, taking my breath away, the pain would hurt so bad. And I just had to keep going because I have a busy life and I have children that need an education. So there are no sick days. We don’t stop for pain. I didn’t know what to do with that. How does one decide to deal with life when there’s pain constantly? So when I spoke with my gynecologist about the pain we started talking about the options for women. Surgery just wasn’t a good option for me. I tried other treatments that have worked for others but they just did not work for me. So then I just felt stuck. I didn’t feel like there was really a place to go after that.

AMY:
Then my gynecologist told me about ORILISSA and we sat down…we looked at the benefits and the potential side effects. And after a long conversation we decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I tried ORILISSA because it’s working for me. You know just being at work with children, I love to see their minds grow. Being there for the little moments, that makes me smile. Having less endometriosis pain with ORILISSA? That makes me smile, too.
